Guide · the connected system

From formulation to finished label,
every part stays connected.

aromathy links formulations, materials, testing, compliance, production and export into one calm operational workflow. Change anything in one place and the rest of the system follows.

Chapter 01

Start with the formula.

Every product begins as a formulation: a versioned recipe of materials, with percentages, yields and costs all anchored to the source. Edit a percentage and the cost, the yield and the downstream compliance state all move with it.

Versions are never lost. Each release is a snapshot the rest of the system can point back to, so production, batches and labels always know which formula they came from.

Formulation is the single source of truth. Nothing downstream stores costs or compliance state independently.

Chapter 02

Materials carry their context with them.

Every material is linked to a supplier, an SDS, a price, a lead time and the formulations it appears in. Hazards parsed from the SDS flow straight through to compliance; cost changes flow straight through to formulation cost.

When a supplier reformulates a fragrance, you do not chase the change across spreadsheets. The system shows you the formulations affected and what to revisit.

Materials never live alone. Every entry knows its supplier, its hazards, its price and the recipes that depend on it.

Chapter 03

Test, observe, record. All anchored to the formula.

Burn tests, stability checks, scent throw observations. Every record sits on the formulation it tested, with timestamps, photos and outcomes that travel with the product through its lifetime.

When trading standards or a buyer asks for evidence, the trail is already there. Nothing to reconstruct, nothing to dig out of a folder.

Testing is part of the formulation record, not a separate folder of evidence.

Chapter 04

Compliance follows the formula.

UK and EU CLP labels generate from the formulation's parsed SDS data. Pictograms, signal word, hazard statements, precautionary statements and the UFI all flow through automatically. Container-aware sizing matches the actual vessel.

When a formula changes, the system shows you which labels need a refresh and which remain valid. No silent drift between recipe and label.

CLP is not a one-time export. It is a live document anchored to the formula it describes.

Chapter 05

Production turns the system into product.

Plan a batch from a formulation and the system reserves the stock, consumes the materials as you produce, and writes a permanent record of what was made, when, in what quantity, against which formula version.

Tracing a finished product back to its supplier deliveries, its CLP state, its testing notes and its yield takes a single click.

Every batch is a fully traceable record, not just a number on a label.

Chapter 06

Export what you need, when you need it.

Print-ready labels in SVG and PDF, sized to the container you are filling. Cutting-machine output ready for Cricut, Silhouette and similar. Compliance documents on demand. Costing breakdowns for your accountant.

Every export carries the operational context it came from, so nothing is ever disconnected from its source.

Exports are an outcome of the system, not a separate workflow you maintain on the side.

One operational system

Built for fragrance businesses that take operations seriously.

Every stage of the workflow lives in the same system, talks to the same data and follows the same formula. Nothing fragmented, nothing reconstructed.
